Meet Jessie, founder of The Social Medium

I'm Jessie Chase, an American who's lived in Paris for 10 years, and the founder of the digital communications agency, The Social Medium.

What was the trigger for creating TSM?

I was lucky enough to start working with brands that I really respect during Covid alongside my job at LancômeI discovered my passion for entrepreneurship and then wanted to leave Lancôme after the epidemic. 

What is your vision of beauty? The more natural, the better. 

Do you notice a difference in the way French and American women take care of themselves?

Yes! I find that American-style routines are often too complicated with too many steps and too many products. I prefer routines simpler ones which are typically more in the French style!

Your in and out beauty ritual?

I don't deprive myself of anything, everything in moderation. In the morning I take dietary supplements, it depends on the time of year and my current needs. As for beauty, I alternate between Perfecting Serum and Fundamental Serum when my skin is dehydrated. I then apply an oil or an cream and an eye contour! In the evening, my routine is very similar :)

Your biggest beauty mistake? Too much eyeliner in middle school!
