What causes dark spots?

Brown spots are due to a disruption of the melanocyte, the pigment cell of the skin. The overproduction of melanin can have different causes: overexposure to the sun, hormonal imbalance (melasma) or age (age spots). Melasma appears during hormonal variations, particularly during pregnancy (mask of pregnancy), while age spots appear after the age of 40, on areas that have been exposed to the sun: face, hands, shoulders, neckline.

Some individuals may be genetically predisposed to developing age spots. Genetics can influence how skin responds to sun exposure and other environmental factors. Frequent use of irritating or harsh skin care products, as well as lack of sun protection, can contribute to the appearance of age spots.

HOW to reduce pigmentation spots?

To reduce pigment spots and regain an even complexion, we rely on lightening active ingredients such as niacinamide, glycolic acid, rice phytic acid, fruit acids or undaria pinnatifida algae, capable of regulating melanogenesis.

On exfoliate your skin regularly, we adopt a diet rich in antioxidants and we avoid exposure to the sun as much as possible: enemy number 1 of pigment spots. 3 evenings a week, we exfoliate our skin with the Perfecting Peel to eliminate all dead cells, even out and brighten the complexion. Rich in AHA (glycolic acid, rice phytic acid, fruit acids) and niacinamide, it is THE essential product to reduce pigment spots.

For an unified complexion, apply the Perfecting Serum, rich in lightening active ingredients such as niacinamide and rice phytic acid. For increased effectiveness, it is combined with the Revitalizing Serum which contains the undaria pinnatifida algae capable of regulating melanogenesis.
Then we hydrate and brighten the skin with Essential Cream which also contains brightening niacinamide.
